Our thesis film "Little Body Big Heart" was an experiment in trusting the process. Eli and I's ultimate goal was to follow our hearts, leaning into what we were curious about in our final year at SVA. For me this meant pushing my 2D character animation and trying out stop motion, designing and creating puppets made of wool, clay, paper, and moss. Eli wanted to continue learning 3D, creating intricate assets and world designs. Like our main character, we grew and transformed our practice along the way.
